We opened our first La Rueda restaurant on Clapham High Street in the mid- 1980s way before Clapham became a buzzing area, with its fabulous bars and restaurants.

La Rueda remains the longest standing and probably the most popular restaurant on the High Street.

Due to such success a sister restaurant opened in 1995 on the Kings Road.

During the week the restaurants provide an intimate atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal with a bottle of wine but the weekends are a different affair please take a look at our EVENTS!!!

The word tapa is now used to describe a small dish of food, served as a snack and is popular all over Spain.

Events

Live Band every Sunday from 10.00PM to 1.00AM.

We also have dancing on Saturdays from 11.00pm till 1.00am.

Wines

Spain has a long history of producing fine wines, particularly the red wines of Rioja. It has the largest area of land dedicated to viticulture of any country in the world .
